Look no further, you will not find a better place to discover Occitan! This is literally the temple of the written Òc language. Huge archive and library, it contains everything that has been published in Occitan -- they keep track of past and also the contamproary music recordings, books and magazines. I spent hours looking at historic Occitan magazines while sitting in the cozy atmosphere of the library. The staff is very friendly and can give you wonderful advice. Besides being a documentation space, CIRDÒC does a huge cultural work and they host visits by schools, associations and really anyone who wants to know more about the language. If you want to discover the language of troubadours and a Mediterranean civilisation that dates back to the XII century, if you dare to educate yourself on what Occitan reads like nowadays, go to CIRDÒC at Bésiers! Establiment plan situat, accessible en veitrura. Centre de ressorças indispensable per totes aqueles que se desiran documentar e/o aprene la lenga e la cultura occitanas. Lo personal es plan aculhent.
