I had a wonderful private tour here with my family. You have to arrange for a visit in advance, but the house and its collections are fascinating for anyone interested in French culture. The proprietor was a man of wealth and taste, and our guide was a lovely and knowledgeable scholar. I suppose it helps if you understand French.
